On vacation, you want a beautiful kitchen, a luxurious bathroom, a comfortable bed, and open spaces that bring everyone together. You don't need a garage, endless storage, or extra walls separating the gang. Omega is everything you want, nothing you don't need.
That thoughtful approach opens up possibilities well beyond vacation. Your first home could feel like the home you've always wanted. Your guest house could welcome family or generate Airbnb income. An adult child could gain independence, with a beautiful place to find their footing.
For aging parents—or your own next chapter—Omega offers the appeal of living on one level, with less upkeep and more time to enjoy life. Keep loved ones close while giving everyone privacy, or move into an Omega on your own property and rent your larger home for income.

The Founders
Meet the Hayeses
We're Burt and Penelope Hayes, the husband-and-wife team behind Omega and Hayes Luxe Homes. We live in Naples, with roots in the Carolinas for Burt and Canada and Nashville for Penelope. At home, two Golden Retrievers and one very outgoing cat keep things lively. We love excellent dining, working together, and finding a little sunshine between projects.

We have owned and operated Hayes Luxe Homes in Florida since 2024, following our construction and renovation businesses in North and South Carolina. Burt brings more than three decades of luxury building experience, including overseeing extraordinary homes valued up to $30 million. Omega carries that knowledge into a smaller, beautifully considered footprint.
A Foundation in Craft and Creativity
Burt is a graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. Penelope's background includes interior design studies, mass communications studies at UNC Chapel Hill, and a creative career spanning interiors, branding, and television. Together, we bring practical building knowledge and a thoughtful eye for how a home looks, feels, and functions.
Your Designer-and-Builder Duo
Many clients have affectionately nicknamed us "Joanna and Chip"—a nod to our designer-and-builder partnership. Burt leads construction, while Penelope shapes the aesthetics and manages the business. We love creating homes together, from the first layout to the final piece of art.
Our Inspiration Started at Home
Omega's inspiration began when we built a small luxury home on our own property. After years of also operating our main home as a luxury vacation rental, we understood what guests loved—and what they didn't need to be burdened with on vacation. We saw an opportunity to create something beautiful with less to maintain and more to enjoy.

The Company Behind the Homes
Hayes Luxe Homes is our licensed and insured Florida general contracting company. Alongside Omega, we build custom luxury homes, renovate existing residences, and transform commercial spaces. The same care for craftsmanship, materials, and thoughtful design runs through everything we do.

We build year-round at our Naples, Florida site, then transport each Omega home to its destination for installation suited to the property—from foundations and utility connections to decks. It's a shorter path from an empty lot to a beautiful place of your own.
